The Garcia Family
It had been a few years since I saw Lucy and Garrett. They got married 10 years ago in Boca Grande at the Gasparilla Inn. I was honored to be their photographer that weekend. Since that time, alot of life has happened. They had to say goodbye to their furbaby of 14 years, they have brought three beautiful kiddos into the world, and recently added a new 4 legged family member named Trooper to the mix. I was beyond excited when Lucy told me they were coming up to Lonesome Valley for two weeks. Lonesome Valley is one of the most picturesque places for photos in my opinion. I treasured this shoot so much more than just the backdrop. To me, this was a genuine capture, and what I mean by that is it was equal parts pose and smile for the camera, but also be goofy, let me chase you around and just be free, followed by a grande finale meltdown of all 3 of them. Thank you Kennedy {Garrett's mom} for holding down the fort while Lucy, Garrett and I snuck away for a few photos of the two of them.
