Blue Ridge Parkway Elopement

I am so excited to share Rose and Reids elopement, photographed up on the Blue Ridge Parkway this past July. The goal for Black Balsam elopements are always to capture the most incredible mountain top views and stunning sunset scapes. And while we did get some of those incredible mountain top views, it didn't last long.

In fact, we experienced every type of weather during their elopement on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sun, heat, clouds, fog, wind and rain all graced us with their presence that day. If I could give any couples looking to elope a piece of advice it would be to come with zero expectations and just embrace whatever mother nature will bring. I love the variety of images we were able to capture from their elopement. Rose and Reid, thanks for being such a cool couple and flowing with all the elements. Here are some of my favorites from their elopement.
