Flat Mountain Farm
One of my favorite wedding venues in the Highlands is Flat Mountain Farm and let me tell you why. First, the story behind the property is pretty amazing. The owners, Chris and Margaret purchased the property from an eighth generation Highlander. They fully restored the 28 acres with a combination of new world amentities and old mountain charm. The property boasts 3 beautiful homes meaning you can rent one home, or the entire property out for you and your guests. And the reason I love this venue the most is that they are pet friendly. So whether weddings, corporate events, pet parties or family gatherings you can be confident that the experience will be nothing other than 10 star service and experience. I recently went to Flat Mountain farm to photograph Danika, her husband, Jordan, and some of their furbabies. They came up to the Highlands for a much needed staycation and birthday celebration.
