Highlands NC - save the date
Help me pick a favorite photo for Alison + Drews Save the Date! I had the best time capturing all the cuteness between this Colorado couple, and their chocolate lab, Monty. We originally planned an engagement session filled with epic hikes, locations, waterfalls, the whole dream. Then reality hit when Alison reminded me that Monty (half lab, half baby seal) would immediately launch herself into any body of water in sight. So we pivoted to Drew‘s mom‘s backyard in the Highlands, and honestly? It was perfect. Mossy rocks, Rhododendron arches, and a stone wall with a wooden door that made for the dreamiest backdrops. Everything was going smoothly until Monty disappeared, and came back from a neighbors algae filled pond😬
We took a brief intermission to officially retire Monty of her duties and prepare a much needed margarita for Alison and Drew. PS mad respect to you both for making homemade margaritas with Tajin rims.
