A Rare February Day at The Biltmore Estate
If you know Western North Carolina, you know February weather can be unpredictable.
But this day? Warm. Sunny. Glowy.
It felt more like early spring than winter — the kind of sunshine that makes everything sparkle just a little extra.
And somehow… there was no one there.
The grounds were peaceful. The pathways were open. We were able to wander freely without the usual crowds that come with photographing a proposal at The Biltmore Estate. It honestly felt like Michael had rented the entire place out just for them.
A few hours before sunset, Michael led Erin to the perfect quiet spot on the lawn in front of the Biltmore. Erin was relaxed, laughing and completely unsuspecting of what was about to happen. And then Michael got down on one knee. The look on her face was everything. Total shock followed by instant giddy.
There’s something extra sweet about a proposal right before Valentine’s Day — it already feels romantic, but adding the surprise element? Next level.
